We have several offerings at Elite Physiques that derive from the broader definition of yoga. Many people in the United States see yoga as simply stretching. But the traditional function of yoga was to enhance an individual’s meditation practice. As yoga developed over the years, it expanded into a discipline that incorporated stretching, breathing exercises, strengthening exercises, diet, and of course, meditation, as well as other holistic health modalities. Yoga Classes
All classes are 50 minutes in length. We welcome all levels of students; however, it is recommended that you have some yoga experience before attending the Monday or Saturday Strength flow classes. Current class times and descriptions below.

Power Vinyasa Flow with Yvonne Renee Dunlap
This is a powerful vinyasa flow class where you will do a fast-paced, fun yoga practice to upbeat tunes like disco & hip-hop music. This 50 min practice will consist of several different sun salutations, fast-paced vinyasas, a lot of core work with different planks and some advanced poses mixed in as well.

Lil Yogi mini-series classes
Come hang out, meet new friends and see what this Lil Yoga class is ALL about!
We are having a fun and exciting 3-week mini-series for any Lil Yogi wanting to come and join and practice with us.
The class starts on Monday, June 10th at 5 pm. Ages 5 and up.
Mats are provided.
Expect to find balance in your daily Lil Yogi fast pace life. You will also learn breath work to handle those hard moments we all struggle with.
Everyone is welcome in this Yoga community, it’s a great place to find your confidence and independence. It’s a place that makes you feel at home, and we can’t wait to meet each and every one of you!

Gentle Yoga
The goal of gentle yoga is to regain and maintain flexibility as well as to rejuvenate and heal the body. Yoga props such as blankets, blocks, bolsters, chairs, and straps may be used for safe practice, and to allow the body to fully achieve each position comfortably. This class is held at a slower pace and focuses on stretching all areas of the body while releasing stress and tension from joints and muscles.
Beginner Yoga, Hatha Style
This class is designed for beginners. Classes introduce the student to the basic principles of alignment and technique for several foundational yoga poses and sequences while slowly stretching and strengthening the body with the use no-sleep-disorders.com. The emphasis will be placed on stretching the hamstrings, hips, shoulders, and spine. This is also a slower placed yoga, and poses will be held in order to create strength in the lower body and the core as well as to increase flexibility.
Strength Flow
This class mixes traditional flow yoga with strength enhancing poses such as push-ups, planks, twists, and advanced balancing sequences. Modifications are offered and encouraged in order for anyone to adapt to the class at your own pace. Warning: you might sweat in this class!
Flow
If you love to flow from one traditional pose to the next, this class might be for you! Designed for the student that is looking for a more traditional practice or for someone that might be looking for a yoga class to add to their weekly workout schedule to ensure they are getting the benefits of stretching, balancing and strength.
Individual Yoga Instruction
We offer individual yoga instruction at Elite Physiques as well. Individual yoga instruction is a great way to get one-on-one focused attention if you are concerned about or looking for help with any of the following:
