My vision is to educate, motivate, and enrich my client’s level of physical wellness. Education is very important to me. I love to learn! For the last 20 years, I have taught everything from aerobics, yoga, weight training, spinning and lots more. My area’s of specialization is in nutrition, post-rehab, corrective exercise, posture, and working with individuals with Parkinson’s Disease. I am married and have a Daughter and Granddaughter a dog and two cats. I love being out in nature, kayaking, biking, fashion, and photography. You can also check out my Fashion Blog at Lively Joy.

I have been active in fitness most of my life. I remember dancing to the Ventures with my Mom in the living room when I was little. After choosing a career path of Medical Laboratory Technology, I went to Columbus State Community College and graduated with an Associate Degree in Applied Science. I worked in a hospital environment where eating bagels, cream cheese and loads of fatty foods from the cafeteria was a daily occurrence. I watched my weight and my pants size begin to grow. I joined a health club, worked out with a personal trainer, went from a size 13/14 to a size 6, and set my goals to become an aerobics instructor. I took my first step class and left in tears because the class was so hard to follow. This increased my drive to be an aerobics instructor and I vowed to teach classes where anyone can walk in, follow the movements and get a great, safe workout. I received my certification through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and began teaching classes to spread the word of fitness and healthy living.I eventually went back to Columbus State and started taking classes in Sports and Fitness Management. I wanted a career change where I could work with people and help them achieve their fitness goals. I have now been working full-time in the fitness industry for six years. I am always looking for new trends and changes in fitness to share with my clients.I am also a National Physique Committee figure competitor. I competed in three shows in 2003 and fulfilled an eight-year dream of stepping on stage. I compete to compete with myself by setting goals and achieving.


Toni Gundling
Personal Trainer

Toni, a Certified AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Arthritis Foundation Certified Personal Trainer, has been training for over 30 years.  She also participated in various sports and cheerleading during high school. Toni’s background is in Interior Design, but training has always been her first love. Toni and Sherry met while training at World Gym.  Toni was impressed with Sherry’s high standards and philosophy with regard to training.  Soon after, she began training with Carla at Elite Physiques. Sherry and Carla recognized Toni’s passion for training and encouraged her to pursue her dream to become a personal trainer. After two years of studying and 3 certifications later, Toni is now doing what she loves most – personal training. Toni serves as an inspiration to all of her clients with her upbeat, positive style, and her own personal success story.

Lisa Chorey
Personal Trainer/Yoga Instructor

My passion for health and fitness, coupled with my background in sales, human resources, and management led me to become a certified personal trainer as well as a yoga instructor. My journey began 10 years ago when I realized that as I approached 40 I was adapting to very unhealthy habits. Too much work, too little sleep and no exercise and consistent bad eating habits.

I had changed careers and was managing a healthy back store and website, meeting people face to face as well as on the phone who were in their 40’s, 50’s and beyond and experiencing severe back pain. Most of these people were inactive, so even the slightest lifestyle change was going to help. Little by little I started to see the benefits of taking care of yourself! I started to research more information in regards to our backs and how to adapt to a healthier lifestyle and started with myself. I found an amazing yoga teacher who taught me from the ground up (I could not even touch my toes!) and an amazing trainer (our very own Carla), who taught me the correct way to exercise and coached me into better eating habits.

Now I train at the very gym where it all started! I am motivated each and every day by the clients that come into the gym and do their best to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I have also pursued my love of yoga and have been trained by some of the best teachers in Columbus. I have a power yoga background as well as YogaFit training so that I can teach to a varied group of people each class. I believe that Yoga is for everyone and love to share that in our studio.

When I am not in the gym I am probably at my favorite yoga studio, studying, reading or walking at Highbanks or Alum Creek. I love to be outdoors whenever possible. Take the first step! Do something today that your future self will thank you for later.



Jack Oehler

Jack is a national-level bodybuilder with 20 years of workout experience. He has worked with all ages and levels of fitness. His easy smile and laugh will put you at ease while he’s kicking your behind into shape. Jack graduated from Ohio State with a Degree in Education and Exercise Psychology.

Crystall Davis
Personal Trainer / Yoga Instructor / Silver Sneakers Ambassador

I love all things fitness and have always had a passion for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Playing sports growing up and always leading a very active lifestyle has stuck with me as well as other hobbies throughout my life. I love hiking and being in nature as it always brings me such peace along with running, rollerblading, and pretty much anything that involves water sports. Alum Creek is like a second home to me and if I’m not there you can always find me hiking the trails at Highbanks Metro Park. I had been thinking that with this being such a huge part of my life and such a passion of mine, why not incorporate it into my everyday professional life. So I decided to bring this healthy lifestyle approach that encompasses my meldonium-mildronate.com and merge it into a career that creates and promotes a total health and fitness package when combined. I studied hard and received my Personal Training certification through ” ISSA” International Sports Sciences Association. I have been a personal trainer since 2012 and have been involved in the Yoga community for the last 4 ½ years. I am also a Silver Sneakers Ambassador for the thriving after 55 fitness enthusiasts as well as finishing up my training for Stand up Paddle Board or “SUP Yoga.” I plan to offer Sup Yoga Classes at Alum Creek this coming summer, so come meet me on the water! Health and Fitness is now my number one priority not only for myself but for my clients that put their faith in me. They receive it right back in themselves gaining a healthy mindset, confidence, and strength of all aspects once and for all.

Brenda Tiffner

I am a physical therapist assistant of 24 years and continue to practice, a personal trainer with a diploma in personal training from NPTI(National Personal Training Institute) and certified through ACE (American Council on Exercise), an Educator in Sports and Exercise Science for the last 3 years for juniors and seniors in high school and this year started with the National Personal Training Institute educating those that want to become personal trainers. I am a certified Level 1 Kettlebell Instructor and a certified Pound Pro Instructor. (If you don’t know what this is….just you wait…classes coming soon!) So much fun and so awesome as the health benefits are numerous! My passion is to extend knowledge to improve health and quality of life! I would love the opportunity to help you reach your goals. Exercise technique is critical if you want to continually improve your lifts, your strength, your balance, and general overall wellness.


Yvonne Renee Dunlap

I have been in the dance & fitness industry since the age of three. I took dance classes all through college, wanting to be a ballet dancer (didn’t quite work out) & have taught step, aerobic & Jazzercise over the years. I have certifications in Zumba Level 1 and have been teaching Zumba and Zumba Gold for 5 years. I started Yoga 7 years ago, began training with a Master Yogi and received my 200 RYT from CorePower Yoga in 2016. I teach all different types of yoga: Power, Vinyasa, Gentle, Cardio and for all levels of yogis. I also have my Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga Certification from WPA & AquaStrong and have taught classes in WV & Columbus. I am a member of FITBodies and Fitness Vacation Exchange and have taught Zumba & Yoga at several resorts in Caribbean & Mexico. I am currently studying for my CSCS (Certified Sports Conditioning Specialist) Certification and hope to have that completed sometime this year.
