We all want to look and feel younger! There are lots of things we can do to achieve this. I work with people of all ages and can tell from week to week the difference in their face. I can tell if someone is eating to many carbs or having to many drinks. I can also see it in myself when I am not being a good girl (not that it happens often). Take a look at this list and apply some of the tips and let me know what you think. Taking photos before and after is always a good idea.
1) Dress to Impress
The way you dress can make you look 10 years younger or older. Wear clothes that are stylish, fun, and that fit. Baggy clothes can make you look not only older but also heavier. If you feel good in your clothes than you probably look good. So go shopping with someone who will tell you the truth and help you pick out something special for your new look. I will be doing a style/fashion blog soon so keep an eye out for UPF “Unique Physiques Fashionista.”
You knew this was going to be in here. There are studies that show exercise makes the skin look younger. We also know that exercise helps our brain stay young. Read this to find out more. Eat more fruits and veggies! Bodybuilders eat bags of veggies to keep their skin-tight while losing body fat. If you have ever seen a competitor on stage you know what I mean. Sometimes they loss 20 to 30 pounds in a short amount of time and still have tight skin. It’s all about the food you eat. This is a great time to take the before photo. Do this challenge with me now, have someone take a before photo of you now After the holidays drop the sugar and alcohol (the two worst aging things in the diet) and take another photo. Can you see a difference? I bet you can even in two weeks. According to Dr. Oz, eating foods that are high enough in flavonoids and carotenoids (antioxidants found in a number of fruits and vegetables) can help with anti-aging and keep you feeling energetic and healthy.
4} Take care of your hands
Do you ware gloves while doing dishes? You should, this one thing can keep your hands looking good longer. I do not wear gloves and it shows. To keep your hands looking younger longer start with a hand scrub. I bought Deep Steep Natural Hand Scrub at Marshalls for $3.99.
I also found this hand cream on Amazon, it had great reviews and was rated five stars.
As we age our eyebrows start thinning and seem to get lighter. If you have them dyed look for a natural salon that doesn’t use formaldehyde in their products. 6) moisturizer your face and body
This is a big one. Every time you get out of the shower cover your body with some type of body cream or body butter. Look for natural or organic or make your own. Here is a DIY body butter http://www.primallyinspired.com/friday-favorites-homemade-vanilla-bean-body-butter/. Don’t forget about the most important part of the body to moisturizer, the face. Use a anti-aging moisturizer and surm every morning. If you sweet during the day make sure you re-apply it.
7) Get rid of your cellulite
What! This makes us look younger? Yes, and we also feel better about ourselves. The best way to get rid of it is to be at your optimal weight and DO NOT eat sugar. On TopbeautyBrands.com They have a natural “how to” that will help you get rid of the fatty looking stuff. It’s a coffee body scrub you can read more at http://topbeautybrands.com/how-to-get-rid-of-cellulite-fast-and-naturally/
